Description and details:

OPTOCON MCS-02 offers quick and low cost cable repair to the hardest environmental conditions. The splice mechanism is used in singlemode and multimode applications, without the need for energy, heat or complicated termination procedures. Based on cutting edge mechanical splicing technology, the MCS-02 offers fiber joint with low attenuation within a couple of minutes. The retention and disconnection of the cable is achieved through aramid thread which is guaranteeing the IP67 with the same way as the military connectors. The small sized mini cable splice, offers permanent joint to the military tactical cables up to 2 fibers. The MSC-02 offered as OMK-SR-MSC kit. By buying it along with all the needed tools and accessories, the kit is received completed as splice unit, ready to use, inside a durable carrying case. The splice unit, the accessories and the replacement parts can be replaced later, with low cost whenever deemed necessary.
